Dr. Blume's optical dispensery has metal (titanium, stainless, etc), zyl (plastic), and rimless frames on display for same day selection. Special frames can be ordered! Replacement lenses for your frame can also be ordered. The spectacle lenses are fabricated locally by Walman Optical. Walman Optical picks up and delivers orders in the morning and again after lunch Mon thru Fri.
Dr. Blume works with single vision, toric, and bifocal contact lenses in gas permeable (hard or rigid) and soft(disposable and daily) materials. Demonstration lenses of the Acuvue and Ciba brands of soft contacts lenses are available for the patient's same day use. The office has an inventory of Acuuve 2 single vision lenses for patient pick up or mailing. Dr. Blume now has demonstration lenses of the new Acuvue 2 Toric for astigmatism.

We participate with VSP, If you have vision insurance other then VSP be sure to let Sona or Sherry know when you call. We are participating providers for many of the insurance plans. Check with our staff if you have other types of coverage.
